27 cze 2018 · I have bought all of my Fuji lenses used, except for the kit lens. I tend to buy from reputable camera dealers or occasionally on Amazon Marketplace. There are a few things about Fred Miranda that would discourage me:
I am considering buying used Fuji lenses on FM. Any thoughts or cautions? Is this where professionals go to sell their "soft copies"? I am not a professional, so a steep discount for a reasonably imperfect copy is ok for me.
22 cze 2022 · I bought a lens from a private seller on Facebook Marketplace. I went through PayPal G&S so I am protected. I know that they were selling to fund a course they needed to take. I have already received the lens and everything is good.
Interesting that my post that provided a link to the Fred Miranda lens review section got deleted. Since DPR does not have an extensive list of lenses with user reviews, why the fear that I post a link to Fred Miranda?
26 lut 2012 · I'd never purchased from Fred Miranda forums, though I've been shooting for many years, until a week ago. I had not heard anything bad about the forum's sales board. Long story short, I currently have 2 bad lenses I bought there (in a single sale): a loose barrel & horribly de-centered zoom.
