These scholarships financially support the education of meritorious students from the underprivileged sections. It also targets to reduce the dropout rates among school students transitioning from the elementary to the secondary stage.
As per the Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) portal, Ahmedabad is home to the highest number of help centres in areas including Bavla, Maninagar, Vejalpur, Daskroi, Ghatlodia, and Mandal. Moreover, private colleges still await the announcement of help centres.
