7 lut 2018 · I want to write some text data (integer and string types) in a .txt file using fprintf() and I am looking for the most efficient way of doing so. I was under the impression that using a single fprintf() instead of multiple would be efficient but that is not the case as evident from the codes below.
fprintf(fileID,formatSpec,A1,...,An) applies the formatSpec to all elements of arrays A1,...An in column order, and writes the data to a text file. fprintf uses the encoding scheme specified in the call to fopen.

2 lis 2020 · MATLAB overrides the specified conversion, and uses %e ", and this is exactly what you are doing: you specified an integer format with %d but the data has a non-zero fractional part and so fprintf uses %e instead, which for some values may give the same output as the %f format.

16 wrz 2011 · fprintf() sends the string to an output device (screen, file). In an output context, such as assigning to a variable, it returns the number of bytes written. You could store that byte count in a variable or use that byte count in an expression.
