The builder’s portal contains tools for completing and updating the builder’s profile, applying for builder licences, registering new homes, entering commencement dates, and downloading Registrar’s Certificates. The builder’s portal should be accessed from a computer connected to the Internet.

In order to enter applications (i.e., owner builder authorizations, new home registrations, rental exemptions) into the NHBPS for processing, an owner builder must create a builder account in the NHBPS. As well, at least one user must be created and associated with that account.
Projects registered using the online system will be listed and show you whether the enrollment is pending or ready for download once the enrollment is approved. You can open any of your new registrations and review the information or print a receipt for the registration.
