Ive been playing sekiro on steam with a controller for about 50 hours, stopped playing for a few days and once i try playing again the game refuses to work or even register the controller but works fine with the keyboard. Any solutions?
My controllers work fine until I've launched the game, then it doesn't recognize any input whatsoever. I've heard some people having issues with gryo controls, but I can't get the game to recognizes a controller exists even a little bit.
A fix that worked for me was to uninstall the HID - complaint game controller driver (Human interface devices) in device manager and reinstall (action => scan for hardware changes) it.
28 cze 2021 · This is how I fixed it. Click on Steam>Settings>Controller>General controller settings. If you have some weird controllers listed here, like Vjoy or something, you have to deactivate it from your device manager until you only have your real controllers on the General controller settings list.
The solution is to open big picture mode and go to controller settings and select your controller. If PS4 controller is selected, go to controller configuration and change the trackpad input setting to none. Run the game in big picture mode.

25 mar 2019 · If you have the PC Remote installed for use your phone as a mouse, Sekiro detects it's drivers as a game controller and don't detect the xbox controller. Uninstall PC Remote from your pc. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
