Via the five Food Banks, they provide boxes of nutritious food each month to low-income seniors, many of whom live in isolated, rural communities. More than 30,000 seniors receive a box monthly at sites throughout the state.

Who receives Food for Seniors? Qualified recipients must: Be 60 and older. Live in Terrebonne Parish. PACE Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a program for older people which provides all needed services so that they can continue to live in the community. Currently there are 3 PACE centers: Baton Rouge, Greater New Orleans and Lafayette.
