23 wrz 2024 · As a sport, wrestling can appear in many forms, including freestyle, Greco-Roman, and folkstyle—in both folkstyle and freestyle, you can execute takedowns by either shooting or throwing, but in Greco-Roman, you can only do takedowns by attacking your opponent's upper body. Our newly finished Wrestling Room makes for the perfect location to train. Over 7,000 square feet covered wall to wall with wrestling mats. We train throughout the year regardless of which season it is for style of wrestling. If it is Folkstyle season we will primarily train folk, and so on accordingly for Freestyle and Greco.
We have 2 different seasons for style of wrestling (Folkstyle and Olympic styles). Folkstyle, which runs from October – February, and (Olympic Style) Freestyle/Greco-Roman, which runs from March – July.
