7 lis 2021 · You might want to consider making your ramps able to fold flat on to your trailer deck to avoid the sail effect. You can’t always have them folded down but when you can it is nice. The swing out/fold down option would be nice too.

3 lut 2016 · I have some steel tubing (1" o.d., 5/8" i.d.) and then 5/8" steel rod to make the hinges with. The basic plan is to weld pieces of the steel tubing along the folding edge of the ramp sections, stick the 5/8" rod through them, then something to keep the rod in place.
