  7. Real walking is much harder than simulating walking via 4 buttons. In order to walk you need to have a ton of different muscle groups all acting perfectly together (thighs, calves, ankles, feet, balance of upper body, etc). If it was as simple as only having 4 things to control then it would be much, much simpler.
