Problem: frequent blackouts where the livestream stop playing. Cause: incorrect keyframe interval. Solution: Adjust to a 2 second keyframe interval. For content with 60 frames per second this means one keyframe every 120 frames and for content with 30 frames per second means one keyframe every 60 frames.
10 maj 2017 · After updating to macOS Mojave (10.14.5) with Safari V. 12.1.1, this same behavior returned. I tested this on Flowplayer 6, 7, and the current flowplayer version. I also tested on the demo sites mentioned in this thread and found the same issue there.

No input received. Problem: The stream is connected to our server, but we haven’t received any data for at least 4 seconds. How can this affect the viewer: Since we no longer receive any input from the sender, this causes the playback error for the viewer.
18 sie 2023 · All 5.1 AC3 or stereo tracks start instantly as expected, it’s only the HD formats that require a pause/play or rewind/fast forward to start playback. Also if I turn off my display/TV while PlexHTPC is launched on my Mac Mini, when I turn it back on PlexHTPC is completely black.
Problem: your input bitrate to Flowplayer is lower than your target bitrate. Cause: poor quality of connection. Solution: Switch to a lower target bitrate / resolution. It is common for wireless connections to vary in quality depending on the usage.
