You are responsible for requesting benefit payment on or within 7 days from your scheduled report date. If you do not request payments on time, you will not be paid for the given week (s), your claim status will change to "Inactive," and you will need to reopen your claim.

However, Governor DeSantis has waived the requirement to wait a week to receive Reemployment Assistance benefits beginning March 29, 2020 until May 29, 2021.
Once you receive your first payment, your scheduled report date may change. If you are more than seven days late to claim your benefits, you may be denied payment. So make sure to always request your benefits on time.
