22 lis 2010 · The thing is that you can't open PDF files directly inside Flash player. So, a workaround that's usually done by Flash PDF viewers (flipbook, etc...) is to convert the PDF pages on the server to separate PNG images and load those into flash.
Embedding videos in PDF without flash. As far as I understand it, from reading the documentation for media9, videos are generally embedded in PDFs by including Flash video players in the PDF. Unfortunately that means readers that can play video need to use Flash, which is long dead.
15 mar 2014 · You could try to download the swf file from the website using the "Flash and Video"-addon for Firefox (http://tinyurl.com/68ttf76). Then you have the file on your PC and print it or use a virtual printer to convert it to PDF (if that is possible in this case).
5 gru 2021 · When Flash Player was still being supported, using LaTeX Beamer for presentations, one was able to compile a PDF with embedded videos/gifs in it (using \includemedia []). The videos were interactive at least with the simple buttons such as play/pause/repeat.
5 maj 2017 · As I said, if the PDF is made so that it includes a swf video player that will always be used to play the embedded videos, it requires the PDF viewer that can (side-load a plugin, which would be a flash/shockwave player I suppose, to) run the swf.
