16 wrz 2018 · How do I test them in Mac OS? It would be useful to be able to test the USB drives on my Mac without having to put them on an older, slower Linux computer. If there is a way that requires a software addition I would prefer not to have to compile to use it.
Recently, Apple released a Supplemental Update for macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Normally, with the patcher, you would download a new installer, install the update and it would automatically repatch your system.

Macs are finicky and fail to identify 'faulty' devices. PC->Search "Disk" will give a better more robust tool. Some devices format SD cards as 64GB despite its larger size. For example my camera formatted 256 SD card as 64GB. I formatted as exFat which was acceptable to Android tablet.
