Flair has a small single digit percentage of market share and doesnt compete on 99% of routes offered by everyone else. Lets just call it what it is, you chose Flair, a ULCC that is unable to sustain itself financially and had a shitty experience.
This is my first time booking with Flair as I needed a cheaper flight to Toronto. It's only for a few days so I am packing light (just a slightly oversized backpack I added on as my carry-on). I'm wondering if anyone has flown with them before and their experiences.
With a fluidity in airline seat, pricing studies have shown the best time to purchase your seats is 12 to 7 weeks in advance. I fly Flair because I can get direct flights, not necessarily because of the price. Just be prepared for the baggage requirements and the fact that the flight may be delayed. Save yourself. Don’t do it!!!
So judging by some reviews I’ve read online I expect to hear some negative feedback about flair airline. I have friends flying into Calgary in November via flair airline from Ottawa and am a bit nervous their flight could get cancelled and derailing our trip we have planned.
Flying to Kelowna on Friday morning with Flair for the first time. Just now reading some awful reviews but also reading great reviews - but there sure is a lot of negative reviews. Has anyone here had experience with them flying out of the Victoria Airport?
I’ve used flair often to fly between BC and Alberta. They are more on time and pleasant than the other airlines. I also don’t pack much so it suits me just fine. I am unaware of this empty middle seat option. And generally the flights are pretty full as they go from Vancouver to Alberta then to Ontario.
