The Flag Code clearly states that military personnel, policemen, firemen and members of other patriotic organizations can wear lapel pins as part of a formal uniform. As with other situations, the pin should be worn on the left lapel of the uniform.

5 paź 2021 · The flag pin should be worn over or near the heart (e.g., lapel, tie, chest pocket area) and should not be worn upside down, sideways, or backward. It should not be covered by other pins and, ideally, would not be placed below other pins as it should resting a place of high respect.
