The campground includes 109 traditional campsites and, 16 tent only hike-in sites. A boat ramp, drinking water, hot showers, playgrounds and a dump station are also provided. There are two overlooks and two downstream fishing access points.

There is no horsepower restriction and boaters can launch any size boat at 2 public launches on the south side of the lake. Campers staying at Tompkins Campground can also launch at a campers only boat launch on the north side.
Bring along your camera to capture the sunset over the lake, head out for great fishing and boating, or hike the trail overlooking the lake. The campground features over 430 sites, with 51 full-hookup and 207 modern electric sites with lots of waterfront options.
