I've seen some people suggest overhauling the pre-existing "deposit loot" button within the bank deposit box to also deposit the contents of the fish sack barrel (and forestry kit + log basket) which I think is a pretty good solution.
The fish sack barrel is made by using a fish sack on a fish barrel. It is an equipable version of the fish barrel, and has the same functions; players can right-click to open the box to have raw fish that the player picks up or fishes be automatically placed inside the barrel, provided there is space for it.
