This clinical practice guideline (CPG) is based upon consensus of current clinical practice and review of the clinical literature. The guideline was developed by the Clinical Practice Guideline First Metatarsophalangeal (MTP) Joint Disorders Panel of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
