First task is to import (via sync) 500+ bookmarks to Linux Firefox 64.0 using the Firefox Sync Account feature. When I attempt to sign-in to the sync account get "Incorrect password" but I know the password is in fact correct.

When I go to "reset password", Mozilla says: When you reset your password, you reset your account. You may lose some of your personal information (including history, bookmarks, and passwords).
17 gru 2023 · FIREFOX 35.0 'NEW' SYNC: I'm already signed-in to Sync but when I click on FF Sync/"Manage" in 'Options' I receive a message that my password is incorrect. Why? Can't log in to about:accounts but can to account.services.mozilla.com
When you reset the sync password, the data on the servers will no longer be decryptable (since the encryption key has changed). Once you can get access to the sync account with the new password, you'll upload new copies of your local data to the serverd, using the new password for the encryption key.
14 lip 2022 · Firefox 102.0.1 (64 bit) installed on Linux, syncing... result: imported passwords aren't available. When I added manually some logins and synced them, then the sync was successful. After several experiments I decided to save passwords into a file on Windows and I imported them on Linux from the same file.
14 sie 2022 · To sync between desktop and mobile, I sometimes have to untick passwords in sync options and hit sync. Then retick passwords and sync again, which normally fixes it for me between desktop and Android.
