Second, if History > Restore Previous Session is grayed, then either Firefox already restore the file or it could not use the file. Check for previously closed windows and tabs on the History menu.
I closed Firefox, reset, and after booting up, the option to restore previous session is greyed out. How can I recover the tabs I was working on? I'm on Firefox 49.0.1.
31 sty 2013 · The "Restore Previous Session" button repeatedly becomes greyed out after a while, and the previous session is not even in the "sessionstore-backups" folder. The problem only started when I bought a new computer and switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
16 cze 2022 · So you need to "kill" Firefox and then at startup it can't restore your session automatically? Or you lowered browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to zero to force that screen to appear after a crash?
