New Mystery of the Emblem features four difficulty modes by default, as well as a single unlockable difficulty mode. Higher difficulties tend to have more enemies with higher stats and stronger equipment.
I would rank the games I’ve played in terms of difficulty based on how much meta-game knowledge (tactics, character stats, recruitment, etc.) is actively needed on higher difficulties, plus how hard it is on a first play.
1 lut 2021 · Comparing ironman runs sounds great at first, but it's easy to see the more recent a fire emblem game is, the less it was designed with ironman in mind. Grinding is another wrinkle between games that is hard to quantify.
I want to hear from people who have played most or all of the games in the series to tell me where each game stands in relation to the others regarding its difficulty. I've drafted up a few guidelines here. Each game should be judged on a first playthrough, going into it blind and not knowing what to expect
I've been wondering what the best way to play the fire emblem series would be. I've already played most of them, but I wonder what would be the best order for someone who is totally uninitiated in the series to play it in for maximum enjoyment? Discuss your opinions below!
7 kwi 2015 · FE4, 5, 6, 7 and 12 do not have a "ranked mode" or anything of the sort, the games simply rank you all the time. If Fire Emblem had more of a visible and clearly understandable ranking system, or the games were clearly designed around the ranking, then I'd be less opposed to what you're proposing.
