Easily Identify Key Signatures with Sharps. If you're looking at a piece of music and you see sharps in the key signature, go to the last sharp (the one furthest to the right).
Major keys are noted in capital letters and are found on the outer part of the circle (C,G etc.), and minor keys are in lower case letters on the inner part of the circle (a, e etc.). Learn about key signatures used in violin music and what flats, sharps and naturals do to violin notes.
