While subsequent hits by Fire-type moves will not provide further increases in power, the Pokémon remains immune to the moves.
Absorb deals damage and the user will recover 50% of the HP drained. If the user is holding a Big Root, the move instead recovers 65% of the damage dealt (30% more than normal). If used on a Pokémon with the ability Liquid Ooze, the user instead loses the HP it would have otherwise gained.

Absorb is a Grass-type move that was introduced in Gen 1. It is a Special attack move.
22 paź 2024 · Water Absorb will not activate if the Pokémon is protected from the Water-type move. If a Pokémon with Water Absorb is holding an Absorb Bulb or Luminous Moss , Water Absorb absorbs the move, so the item's effect is not triggered.
