There's a large number of mods out there for enhancing the night sky. A quick search shows at LEAST 6 mods for sky textures and several more for the galaxy / Sky textures. For star mods, I found:
12 gru 2016 · This mod is a texture replacer for the galaxy showing up in the night sky. It offers extremely high resolution textures of up to 16k x 16k which were carefully crafted to nicely fade into the background or into adjecant textures.
I'm currently using and loving Skyland Night Sky. I've got the Skyking option running right now and it just looks fantastic. I really dislike star textures that have diamond-shaped flares painted on, and this has none of that.
Removes color banding and smooths the sky transition between horizon, middle and top of the sky. 3 maj 2020 · This is quite a beautiful night sky texture but it does not work well with 'Animated Stars' feature from ENB, at least not as it's tuned with Rudy ENB out of the box. Rudy offers star and galaxy textures in the 'addons' folder of his ENB preset that are comparable and work great with the animated stars feature, which is really damn cool IMO .
