Accident reports are available from the Records Division 3 to 5 days after the accident (they will not have photos, witness statements and/or scale diagrams (if these items were created for the accident report you have requested). You must provide two of these three pieces of information: Case number (if available)

Online Reporting. If you have an emergency, please call 911. Using the online citizen report system allows you to submit a report immediately. Upon review and approval from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office you will be permitted to print the report for your records at no cost.
