Treasure Hunt is an activity released in Patch 2.1. While gathering resources as Miner, Botanist, or Fisher at gathering points that are of level 40 or above, players have a chance of receiving Timeworn Maps. Players can Decipher these maps to receive a location where treasure can be found.

Upon accessing gathering points at level 40 or above, Disciples of the Land will, on occasion, locate a timeworn map. There are multiple varieties of map, based on level and location gathered, which will correspond to different levels of treasure hunts.
Maps are a salt mine for me because I think I'm at map number 24 where I haven't won a single thing. One of the guys we do maps with often is super lucky, he won 2 shell leather and 3 cloth softening powders the last time we did it.

Is there any proof that it's a 1/4 chance for each of those events? I knew it was an RNG roll with illusion of choice, but I doubt those are the odds. For me, at least, it seems like a 60/40 open/close with either open/half close animation and if it closes, it seems like a 10% chance or so to be saved.
