A collection of modified DAT files for FFXI that show additional details on the in-game maps, including: Zone exits/entrances; Unmapped areas; Blocked paths; NM spawn locations; Quest locations; Head over to releases for the latest bundle, or pick and choose the dats from the roms directory! Note: This is a work in progress.
There are two methods to install these modified maps into your FFXI client. Preferred method: XIPivot is a dat replacement plugin available for both Windower and Ashita which allows a user to dynamically replace .dat files with custom versions.
Here is the step by step guide how to install the map .DAT pack. Download this Map Pack at: https://github.com/Drauku/FFXI-Vision Select the Green "Clone or download" button on the website, and select "Download Zip" from the drop-down menu. Once it has downloaded, use your favorite .ZIP extractor.
24 sie 2014 · Final Fantasy XI Labeled Map Dats. No real version number, just up to date as of 9-25-24. This seems to work fine with private servers to. Either backup your map DATs or use the Pivot plugin. This is compressed with 7zip. Uncompress using that and copy the ROM folders to your FFXI directory choosing yes when prompted to overwrite any files.
This pack and every other map pack before 2020 is now out of date, the developers updated the file locations a few years ago. If you install it, most will show but some/many will not since the locations have been changed. It's safe to install, but just be aware of that.

9 maj 2024 · For those that don't know or don't remember: I compiled all the HD maps from https://remapster.com/ and put them all together in one location with additional information, and reworked multi-mapped locations into as little pages as possible.
