9 lut 2024 · Download and print the revised ATF Form 4473 for firearms transactions, effective from February 1, 2024. The form has been updated to reflect changes in statutory requirements and ATF Final Rule 2021R-05F.
If more than three firearms are involved in a transaction, please provide the information required by Section A, Questions 1-5, on ATF Form 5300.9A, Firearms Transaction Record Continuation Sheet. The completed Form 5300.9A must be attached to this ATF Form 4473.
An ATF Form 4473 is also known as the Firearms Transaction Record form. Licensed firearm dealers must complete this form when they may a lawful sale. Failure to complete this form is a violation of federal law.

ATF Form 4473, Firearms Transaction Record - also known as the ATF E-Form 4473 or the ATF Form 5300.9 - is a form used to determine whether the person purchasing a firearm from a Federal Firearm Licence (FFL) holder is allowed to own a firearm.
