6 kwi 2017 · The standard Ferrari V12's Pre F12/FF don't sound anything like a 599GTO and most of that revolves around headers and head design. To get a 550/575/599 to sound close to a GTO you have to do headers. To me they do not sound good without doing headers, they have a very low and boring sound to them.
4 maj 2024 · The Cilindri’s exhaust has been limited to 72 decibels due to stricter noise regulations. The work around was to direct more sound into the cabin. This is down from 91 decibels for the 812 Superfast.
9 lis 2014 · Looking at videos from older Ferrari V12 from the 50/60/70, I can't understand how they sound so much more "deeper" and throatier than our newer V12s. What is particularly confusing, is that the displacement has almost doubled, yet the sounds our cars produce are that of a much smaller car.
