He is the werewolf who bit Lupin once upon a time, making him become a werewolf for life. He also is responsible for biting Bill Weasley and for mauling his face in the final battle at Hogwarts in Book 6.

A greasy, nasty werewolf who aligns himself with Voldemort in exchange for victims. Though he runs with the Death Eaters, Greyback isn't officially one of them and doesn't have the Dark Mark. He's cruel and the pleasure he takes in his victims themselves—both young men and young women—reads as sexually predatory.
