I personally find Bellatrix to be the most terrifying character. She's simultaneously extremely skilled and also merciless. I actually find her more terrifying than Voldemort. I did, however, just finish re-reading the last 4 books over this weekend, and Fenrir struck me as EXTREMELY rapey and pedo-y.
Generally, wizarding society seems to be hostile to werewolves, and it's believed that Fenrir Greyback was very hostile to the Ministry of Magic due to their policies on Werewolves and the general public of the Wizarding community.
Character Analysis. Affiliation: Death Eater. The leader of the werewolf community, and a close and long-time ally of Voldemort, Fenrir is one mean wolf. He is the werewolf who bit Lupin once upon a time, making him become a werewolf for life.
I think Fenrir Greyback gets a lot of shit from the fanbase for no good reason; people even rank him as the most evil character in the series according to a post here more recently. I think these comparisons are totally unjustified. Let me explain.
