The Fermenter is a 3x3x3 multiblock structure (previously its own block) added by Immersive Engineering. It is used to make Ethanol.
To power these biological processes, the Fermenter uses either Fertilizer, Compost or Mulch as catalysts, and water, Liquid Honey or Apple Juice as a liquid source. The liquid products can be either canned, bottled (in the case of Short Mead) or extracted via waterproof BuildCraft pipes.

Vinery is a mod for creating fermented drinks that give potion effects for a shorter amount of time than a normal potion. The authors of this guide strongly recommend installing JEI or another mod which allows you to see recipes; this mod has tight integration with these recipe-viewing mods.
15 gru 2012 · Fermenter makes biomass for biogas engines..... simply add water + any naturally rotting vegetation (saplings, wheat, cactus, sugar cane, mushroom, plantballs) and either fertilizer, manure or mulch and it makes biomass.
Using a Arboretum and a Logger you will generate quite a surplus of saplings. You can use those to produce a new kind of fuel to power Biogas Engines, namely Biomass. The Fermenter needs to be supplied with plant material, Fertilizer or Compost (1.1.2+) and water.
