  5. 20 mar 2023 · Hi, you will not be able to use your USB drive unless it's again restored using Fedora Media Writer, you won't be able to even view what's on the drive as Windows will not recognize it.

  6. 6 maj 2020 · Workaround: download XZ Tools and copy the files into the program installation directory, usually in x86 program files for windows. I confirm this workaround is working. Just copy files from the desired bin and paste it into the root of the Fedora Media Writer installation.

  7. First, I tried writing the flash drive with ISO mode. This seemed to work, but I had problems booting the OS, then I tried the DD mode (as Rufus itself recommends). Now Windows can't detect my flash drive anymore. I see Disk Management shows the flash drive as "No Media" and 0 bytes of capacity.
