Stafford Loan. The term “Stafford Loan” may refer to a subsidized or unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan that was made to students attending schools that previously participated in the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program.

To be eligible to apply for a Stafford Loan you must be admitted as a degree student, have completed a FAFSA for the 2021-2021 academic year, and be registered for at least 6 credits towards your degree. Please complete this form indicating the amount you would like to borrow.
The subsidized Stafford is a need-based loan program. For a qualified student, the Federal Government pays the interest until the student ceases enrollment as, at least, a halftime student. The amount a student can borrow will vary, depending upon the student's demonstrated financial need.
