20 lut 2024 · These guidelines are used by schools, institutions, and facilities participating in the National School Lunch Program (and Commodity School Program), School Breakfast Program, Special Milk Program for Children, Child and Adult Care Food Program, and Summer Food Service Program.
31 lip 2024 · Any student in a participating school can get an NSLP lunch. Students from households with incomes: At or below 130 percent of the Federal poverty line can receive a free lunch. Between 130 and 185 percent of the Federal poverty line can receive a reduced-price lunch.
The National School Lunch Program has published the income rates for 2023-2024 (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024). The income rates are available on www.squaremeals.org. Having access to this information will assist LEAs as they begin their registration processes on or after April 1st.
