5 lis 2022 · Gog Settings (button right of play) -> Manage installation -> Show folder -> right click FEAR executable/application -> Compatibility -> Disable Fullscreen Optimizations -> Apply. Seems kinda obvious, but I didn't know my computer did that, and now I'm questioning some of the other games I couldn't run.

I’d assume so. FEAR 1 and its expansions have some minor issues on windows 10 but it’s minor and there’s a patch out there that fixes it
7 lis 2021 · After the above I still could not play any of the F.E.A.R. Games as it just stayed on a Black Screen Indefinately. The Above Fix is Still Required when continuing to the fixes below. This Procedure here fixed my Black Screen Issue.

So I've been using my new PC which has Windows 11 installed, and for whatever reason F.E.A.R. and its expansions are not launching, and I can't even exit out of them so I've had to restart my computer every time. I've used both versions from Steam and GOG and they both have the same issue. Have you guys experienced that problem too?
