15 cze 2023 · FATXplorer 3.0 beta 26 is available now and has a few additions worth talking about! First, Project Stellar formatting support has been added. Project Stellar is a new modchip for the original Xbox – it’s loaded with features and now FATXplorer can easily prepare hard-drives for it. Second, XL HDD patch version 3 is now released.

Xbox 360 cache partitions can now be explored (when they are FATX-formatted, which depends on the title that triggered its creation). Added support for a few more Xbox 360 XDK HDD partitions: Partition3, MuEmulation0, MuEmulation1.

With Beta 2 and 3, you are required to connect the Xbox hard drive to the PC with a USB-to-HDD Interface adapter.
FATXplorer is a Windows-based PC utility that allows users to format, read, and write a hard drive. Its main use is to construct new hard drives for use in a modified Xbox. Version 3.0 of FATXplorer is the first version to support the original Xbox, with previous versions only supporting the Xbox 360.
Note if you owned FatXplorer prior to OG Xbox support your old key will still work & gets updated to a v3 key when used. Support this man, as without his work we would still be FTPing hundreds of GBs.
5 lip 2012 · The trouble was actually fixed by a FATXplorer update. That very quickly followed after I'd opened a support ticket explaining the trouble. But since I've bought a different (better) external housing supporting both USB 3.0 and eSATA and that not only works fine with FATXplorer it also resolved the other non-Xbox related issue I been having ...
