San Diego’s original and longest-standing Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot benefits Father Joe’s Villages Food Services Programs, which provide over 900,000 meals annually. During this season of giving, we invite you to give back to our community and make an impact on people experiencing homelessness.
The Thanksgiving Day 5K is not only the most fun turkey trot in town, it also generates awareness and funds to help support Father Joe’s Villages’ efforts to provide and serve close to #1MillionMeals each year. The race includes: Live Music, Beer Garden, Costume Contest and Award Ceremonies.
Father Joe's Villages' 12-story housing complex with 136 units for families with low or fixed incomes opened at 16th and Market Street, San Diego. Many of Father Joe's graduates have benefited from the state-of-the-art apartment complex.
