According to his wiki page, he supposedly ran a 5.49 50 meters, which would be a 33 year standing world record to this day, by almost a full tenth (be like 2 tenths in the 100). Shows up nowhere in the wiki page for the 50 meters.

15 maj 2023 · derrick rose ran a 4.18 40 yard dash. i'm pretty sure its the fastest time ever recorded by an nba player. some of the fastest guys in generations past (including wall, russ, jordan, kobe) are in the 4.3-4.4 range. lebron is 4.5-4.6 range. not sure what fox is but my guess is in the 4.3-4.4 range.
It is what I posted on r/nfl the day before yesterday on how 100m time convert to 40-yard dash. It may be a reference on how 100m time convert to 40-yard dash time as 40-yards time certainly receive more attraction than 3/4 court sprint in NBA.
