Gaming laptops should at least have an option for OLED or glossy IPS. We should opt for freedom of choice for displays. Mini LED is far too expensive right now and does use quite a bit of power.

Oled looks better but imo some IPS are better. My M27Q has better input lag than any oled I’ve personally used (C2 and A95K). Really great for gaming. With a lot of new OLED monitors being released my answer might be outdated.
