  1. 7 sie 2011 · I have a new build and everything is going well, except when I boot my computer up, as soon as I see the Windows 10 logo, the fans go to max speed and stay there. If I put the computer to sleep...

  2. Running your fan at maximum speed does a few things. 1. It moves air faster from one area to another. Make sure that the air that is being moved can safely move to an area where it can become hot without a problem. For example, outside of your computer case. 2. The fan will make more noise. This is more a personal thing.

  3. 29 cze 2017 · Recently, the fans on my GPU started running max speed 100% of the time. It's very loud - sounds like a baby jet. I've tried a fresh install of drivers, ddu, different PCI-E slot, different...

  4. You don't have to run at 100% all the time, you could just simplify your fan curve a bit and put max fan speed at below your max temp. That way it should be raising and lowering speeds under load, just jumping to 100% as soon as components encounter any load, BUT still running at low RPM when idle.

  5. 22 lip 2020 · Smart Fan was enabled by default, i didn't change anything, HWMonitor shows Fan Control at 0.0% (Fan Control 1), Fan Control 2 & 3 disabled, of course i plugged the 4 pin to CPU-FAN...

  6. For a CPU fan for example you could set a ramp (in Bios or in overclocking software) of 0% fan speed at 30 degrees ramping up to 100% fan at 70 degrees C. In theory this might give an optimum quiet fan when the PC is doing light work and fast fan speed when it is pushed hard.

  7. 19 gru 2020 · If the fan is spinning faster than before at the same temperature then it could be a software problem, try setting a custom fan rpm-temperature curve either in the bios or by any software from the motherboard vendor.
