16 sie 2024 · I used some ABS with my K1C and got very good results. I changed back to Hyper PLA and noticed the noise difference from the fans. Has anyone tried Hyper PLA without the fans? Is there a way to slow the fans and if there is has anyone tried running H-PLA with reduced fan speed?
It is a 3 pin fan and Creality used the tach pin from the bottom fan for heatbreak fan feedback. The mainboard has an unused controllable fan port (PA0) so I plugged a spare fan in there that is temperature controlled by the MCU temperature.

Just completed a rear fan swap on a k1 max to a Noctua NF-R8 redux- 1800 80 x 80 x 25 using the Noctua NA-VC1 voltage converter. There's much less noise now and it was relatively easy to do.
