30 mar 2020 · Ok, I believe it DOES have to do with the two-step verification. I had to enable the two-step verification and then "SUPPRESS the OTP". Then DISable the two-step verification. Finally, after several hours I am able to just click on my desktop Amazon icon and I am in my account.
