Subh-e-Azadi (lit.'Dawn of Independence' or 'Morning of freedom' [4]), also spelled Subh-e-Aazadi or written as Subh e Azadi, is an Urdu language poem by a Pakistani poet, Faiz Ahmed Faiz written in 1947.
This paper studies the writings of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, and brings out how his poems are loaded with political metaphors and foresees how the poet has used radical ideas throughout his writings to kindle the minds of men of the working class and bring about a political change in their society.
During his life, Faiz was concerned with more broader socialists ideas, using Urdu poetry for the cause and expansion of socialism in the country.
