Nehalem Bay State Park spreads along a 4-mile sand spit between Nehalem Bay and the Pacific Ocean at the mouth of the Nehalem River. Park visitors enjoy playing in the sand, flying kites, and beachcombing for shells and agates. Kayaking, fishing, and crabbing are popular.

It’s snuggled between Neakahinie Mountain and the ocean on a long sand spit and is ideally located for exploring this gorgeous stretch of the Oregon Coast.
This is a great state park for camping if you love the beach. There are 2 beach access points within the park that are a short climb up the dune to view beautiful Oregon sunsets over the ocean. The RV/Trailer sites are very clean with grass and not much dirt. They have clean flush toilets and hot showers.
