Falling Spring Falls is a breathtaking 80' waterfall that is one of the most visited and photographed spots in the Alleghany Highlands. The scenic waterfall is located on Route 220 in Alleghany County, just five miles north of Covington, Virginia.
Falling Spring Falls is a beautiful 80-foot waterfall right off the highway just north of Covington. We've stopped here a couple times on the way up to Snowshoe, WV. You can see the waterfall from the road, so this is a great little excursion if you're in the Covington area.
