A Fake Artist Goes To New York is a social deception game intended for 5 - 10 players. There are 2 roles: Artists and one Fake Artist. Before beginning the game, the roles are assigned randomly and secretly to each player.
The Fake Artist is choosen randomly each game, but only he himself knows that it is him. All players see the category but the subject is hidden from the Fake Artist. Now, the players take turns and each artist draws one mark to create the masterpiece.
I’ve been seeing lots of online resources shared for some virtual board games which is great! Me and my friends were thinking about how great a fake artist would be online. (I can even see it pre-existing in some other forms before the board game that we know and love)
A Fake Artist in New York Players. For 4 - ~10 players. Tools. At least one pen or pencil; A sticky note or paper scrap for each player; A piece of paper for drawing; Each round, everyone is working together on a group drawing. One artist does not know the topic of the drawing, but is trying to fake that they know it.
