28 wrz 2023 · Scammers send emails to victims asking them to call Amazon customer support numbers provided to supposedly help fix issues with their accounts, reset passwords, or provide refunds owed. However, the phone numbers within the fake Amazon emails actually connect to the scammers themselves rather than real support.

If an email or Facebook message looks strange, don't open it or any attachments. Instead, report it to phish@fb.com or through the report links that appear throughout Facebook. If you’re a business, go to Business Support Home to help verify if there are any issues with your business accounts.
22 kwi 2022 · The Amazon prime scam email contains a fake “service number” for victims to call to resolve the issue. Having made contact, the scammers then try to obtain login details to the Prime account. Hackers are always creating new schemes to avoid detection and trick victims.
8 cze 2024 · If you receive a suspicious email posing as Amazon, report it directly to Amazon at reportascam@amazon.com by sending the suspicious email as an attachment or forwarding it. You can also report a phishing scam to Amazon by forwarding any suspicious emails directly to stop-spoofing@amazon.com .
