You can just bypass the initial puzzle with the diamond by Misty stepping into it. Then Misty step through the leap of faith. And infact you can also Misty step through the gate during the stealth trial. This trial had me pulling out my hair and cursing violently.

Another note: self same trial can easily be cheesed by splitting the party before going into the blood offering room, now you only have to fight one clone. Can be cheesed further by hiding to the right and shooting arrows at your clone tav that sits at the very top until they die.
