Breathtaking works of art that dazzle with color, light, and form—by day and night. Artworks by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly are now on view at NYBG in his first major garden exhibition in New York in more than ten years.
29 paź 2017 · Set within the New York Botanical Garden’s landscape and buildings, CHIHULY is the artist’s first major garden exhibition in New York in more than ten years. This exhibition features over 20 installations and includes drawings and early works that reveal the evolution and development of Chihuly’s artistic process.
Chihuly exhibited at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, near London, in 2005, and at more than 10 beautiful gardens in the United States. Experience Chihuly’s artwork firsthand at a museum near you. Please check with the museum to ensure artwork is currently on display.
Optimal viewing varies, but generally follows this monthly schedule: April: 8 p.m.; May, June, & July: 8:30 p.m.; August: 8 p.m.; September & October: 7 p.m. Chihuly Nights takes place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.; arrive at any time during this time range. Plan for approximately two hours to experience Chihuly Nights.
Chihuly’s new exhibition, Chihuly in the Garden 2023, at Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, features a range of installations among the grounds of the garden, as well as smaller-scale sculpture and works on paper.
Chihuly at Fairchild was the first exhibition of its kind to be held at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. A spectacular sequence of organically shaped and vibrantly colored glass sculptures were set throughout Fairchild’s 83-acre garden landscape.
